Post your desktop
Hi.
I felt like putting this up since, I enjoy watching peoples desktops.
Call me crazy, but it is one of my hobbies.
Oh, and if there is some cool program or anything on your computer, feel free to show off using videos too
Well, I'll start with my Linux, trying to look like a Mac...
Firefox (Web Browser) Nautilus (File Manager) Gnome-Terminal (Shell) and AWN (Dock).
Running Safari using WINE, but forget about browsing the web, it is slower than if i would read the HTML myself...
GNOME2 Global Menu is the menubar at top. It requires patching GTK so the applications menubar relocates at the top.
When no Application is up, it shows the menu of Nautilus, since Nautilus is like Explorer.exe, it handles the desktop.
I don't think that I can make my desktop look more Mac like than this...
But it is somewhat similar...
===EDIT===
Speaking of Mac-like
Here is a Mac Inspired wallaper I created, it works well with Mac.
And I know that none of you (except Hiko) have seen it.
Another Wallpaper

Re: Post your desktop
I have 8 icons on mine (the ones which came with it). Unlike my dad, I think he needs scroll bars on his desktop
Re: Post your desktop

Yeah, I have 74, I had 78 but I deleted 4 and 2 days before I posted that shot I had deleted like 5Dojan wrote:You counted them then?
Re: Post your desktop
Not really.
7 is a unlucky number in Japan since it reminds too much of the word death.
And I can't remember in which country 4 was unlucky, but I think it is in Africa or South America.
