Spore Creature Creation- New game by EA maxis (same maker of sims)

Hiya I have reasonly Purchased the game Spore Creature Creation with some of my birthday money, The game allows you to make your own creatures with way over 200 parts to choose from, also you can choose colors and patterns, once finished you can take photos of them and send to friends or record them and it puts them on youtube for you. Also once finished you can play around with you creation making them jump, flip etc.. also making them have a range of emotions and do a range of dances. In september there will be a new game just called spore which allows you to take your creation further (so basically in real life survival of the fittest).

Spore and Spore CC work on Mac and PC

Also in september there will be a DS and iphone version.

Spore CC costs $10
And i here that spore will cost $50
Or there is a version with 25% of the parts for FREE!

Spore may be going to other consoles like the WII, PS3, XBOX and PSP so not just PC, Mac, IPhone and DS

Looks to me like the sort of game that gets you hooked for 3 months or so, then you get bored and give it away. Maxis seem to be quite good at that (I have The Sims 2). Suppose that's how they make their profits.

To be honest though I get bored or complete any game after 3 months anyway

Oh... why don't you rent games then?

Because I often play them again after a year or so

That always depend on how you play the game, I still play Sims Complete Collection (Sims 1 in other words). If you cheat all the time it will get boring. That is the best way to get bored of a game.

Well I am having fun with spore lol, I have made a creature with the best attack and maximum health and the rest of his stats are good to, I think he will be good when spore comes out

I don't think Spore will be that funny. Seeing the video demos of the game makes me want to play the game less than when I first heard or it. For some reason.

Is the purpose of a trial not to make people want to buy the game?

No but it only gives limited amount of parts which is highly boring.
