Re: Java, C++ or C#?
It is either C# or C++, I prefer C++..J.Z.W wrote:I personally prefer C++, but that's just me. Post you opinions here.
It is not the best, it is the most difficult.Hiko wrote:if i ever learned any, i think i'd rather learn C++ since i hear it's best.
But it is really similar to C#...
Binary is probably the best, and it is rather simple...
Re: Java, C++ or C#?
Well it is simple, but I can't program in itCats11112 wrote:C++ is good, you have a thing about binary dojan!
Re: Java, C++ or C#?
I like them all, but I prefer C++.Cats11112 wrote:LOL, I think the best one there is either C++ or Java, I don't like C#
Java is Yummy because of the cross platform support...
Re: Java, C++ or C#?
I think Java is just if you want to use it for cross-platform, but otherwise I would use C++
I have no need to use C#

Re: Java, C++ or C#?
Python is a scripting language, not a programming language ( i saw that some where so don't get in a big argument cause of it )
C# is basically a cross betweem C++ and VB.Net so it would be easier to learn than C++ and Java and if you know C# you'd probably be able to learn C++ quite easy.
if you want to program with:
C# - get Microsoft C# Express Editon
C++ - not sure, you could get Microsoft C++ Express edition
Java - I recomened NetBeans (that has a C++ editor too) (there is Microsoft J# 2005 Express Edition but that doesn't seem to work too well)
using an IDE like the ones above will make it easier to learn than if your just using notepad

Re: Java, C++ or C#?
Yeah, java's easy.
I remember when I first started to script in php for my website, I was surprised at how similar the layout was to C++! It also shared some features with HTML, I don't really know the history of php though, might check it up.

Re: Java, C++ or C#?
C++ is the language to start with.
Why?
It is one of the most complex programming languages, but, it is also most used, and the most powerful of them all.
Plus, if you know C++, the rest is a piece of cake.

If you where a programmer, right now especially PHP and ActionScript you should join the K-Rune project.
I just made VeloSeek official, check out the K-Rune section.
Re: Java, C++ or C#?
Hmmm... Things I can program in...
C++, php, HTML, z80, does SQL count?
I've actually forgotten quite a lot of things about VB...
