Good news and bad news...
Hi..
Got some news to report.
I'll start off with the bad ones.
First, my mum won't be home this weekend, as she is in Stockholm, from this morning till Sunday eve.
Secondly, my computers powersupply has broke down, so right now I'm using my mums computer, and it is painfully slow (took me ½ hour just to start it up! ), so I will probably not be on too much this weekend.
Now for the good news.
My mothers friend got her new Mac, so now she is only going to transfer the files, then I can get the Mac, however, it has some problem with the screen or something, but it doesn't really matter as atleast you can run it, something you can't do with my PC...
So expect me not-to-be-on too much.
Gee, right now is a moment I wish we had a working DVD!

Re: Good news and bad news...
It broke down. It has started to make a ticking noice when turning it on, and now it won't even supply any power to anything, so I'm positive it is the supply.hellblade wrote:did your power supply 'break down' or blow up like mine

Technically I have 3 but one of them blew up (as you know) , i am using another and the one i had before the one that blew up is in the garage with nothing but the power supply in it (most likily not working due to garage leaking and the motherboard is faulty anyway and it's crap, had pentium 2) So I only have 1 working one but lots of spare parts I have like 6 128mb RAM chips, like 4 Hard Drives (one 20GB, one 10Gb and the rest 3GB), 2 riser cards (changine Slot 1 to socket 370 (or something like that)) and like 3 processors (pentuim 2, pentuim 3 using Slot one, and a pentium 3 a socket)

I made a list on broken stuff in my computer;
1. Powersupply
2. Motherboard
3. Graphics card
4. CD Reader
5. USB Card
6. Core Processing Unit
There is some more minor stuff such as a connector connecting the CD and HD drives together with the motherboard using a cable, that too is broken, so I can decide having two harddrives and no cd, one harddrive and one cd, and two cds and no harddrive
My motherboard is faulty too.Dojan5 wrote:lol, then maybe you should give Dojan and I a computer

Re: Good news and bad news...
Thanks, but no thanks.
I'll have to buy a new motherboard first.
I remember that my mum paid a person to buy a good new motherboard, what I got was this three years old second hand broken motherboard. Hah.
Thats my luck.

Not really, if I was ment to get a brand new motherboard but got a 3 year old broken one, I'd beat someone up (well, maybe not, but I might yell at him alot till he cries )
Re: Good news and bad news...
He's way older than me
Anyhow, I have my Mac now, yay for that.
I see about half of the screen. Enough for me at the moment.

Re: Good news and bad news...
I think it's better to have random patches everywhere then to one half.
Re: Good news and bad news...
I assure you that a working half is better than random patches.Cats11112 wrote:I think it's better to have random patches everywhere then to one half.
Anyhow, now the screen is back to as I sent a photo to Cats likeish.
So I cannot use it at all, and I have found out that the tool I need is only sold by Apple.
Soo, I will not be on as much. Right now I'm at the library.
Re: Good news and bad news...
Sure I can multitask. Not cause it is needed.
What I was saying was that I cannot be online as much as my computers are broken.
Well, make my PowerPC 5500 Executive Edition a exception, however, I cannot connect Ethernet to it!

Though I've updated the hardware and all several times.
It still sucks though.
