Math homework is the absolute WORST kind of homework I will defenatly use this thread for help whene school starts. (P.S. love all the smilies)

i'm good at all but math ....
and my teacher dare put me in honours math! BLASPHEMY!

Same, I fail BIG time at gym.
I am fastest and best at math, but I find it extremely boooring.

I prefer subjects such as English, Chemistry and Physics... I rock at those subject, infact im better than the others in them, I know it is bragging, but I have bragging rights HAHA.

Physics YUCK!

I prefer chemistry and biology even though I am better at physics...
I favorite subjects are business studies and ICT and those are the subjects I kept when going to college

Language Arts FTW, and social studies

My maths teacher gave me this really complicated question. We need to expand the brackets but i have never done it with sooo many (the max has been 2) so can any1 plz help me. This homework is due in after the hols so i have ages but could some1 plz help!!


Heres the question

Integrate: (2x+5)(4x+9)/(4x+5x)(5x+2x)(4x+5) with respect to x

As you can see it's REALLY complicated so could some1 plz help!!!!

Question: A rule in terms of n for the sum of the first n odd poditive integers is....?

You're supposed to finish the statement so it makes the conjecture true.

Is that the one that somehow involves the expres​sion(2n-1)?

The expression can be anything, but you have to figure out a way to complete the statement so that it would be true with whatever you could make the expression be.

All I remember is that the formula for the sum of the first numbers in the sequence up to a certain point is n^2.
e.g

What is the sum of the first 5 odd numbers?
n x n or n ^ 2
=n^2
=5^2
=25
1+3+5+7+9=25

hm... i'm doin 9th grade stuff... but is actually what the 10th graders are doing now... anyway!

Never mind, the assignment is long past, anyway.

I know it's way overdue but I felt I should answer the question. The formula is as followed:

Sum of n^2 from 1 to x is n/6(n+1)(2n+1).

For example the sum of n^2 from 1 to 5 is;

1+4+9+16+25=55

and using the formula you get:
5/6*6*11 = 55
