I am quite sane, all people who make software in the spare time are sane.

I think the iPod Shuffle earphones are quite clever

1 click to play/pause
2 clicks for next song
3 click for previous song
hold down for voiceover to tell you your song
click hold down to fast forward
2 clicks hold down for rewind.

now that sounds highly confusing and stupid and that it wont work nicely, however it works really well amazingly! I don't know how it does it but I have never had problems, I think apple are the only company who would make 1 button to 6 different things and make it work amazingly Razz

there are 2 other buttons are one is volume up and the other is volume down, on the device itself there is an off/shuffle/replay switch.

The iPod shuffle has a clip on the back (the annoying shinny material that you get finger prints and scratches on after 5 seconds of use) but it still looks amazing and clips on nicely to my jeans and is lovely and steal proof Very Happy

eh. personally i hate Ipods of any type. i'll stick with my sony walkman. maybe sometime this year i'll get a Zune. a couple of my friends have them and have never had a problem out of them.

but if you are in a bind i guess the cheapest ipod there is would do.

hm.. i see Mac has planted their seed of death into your head. LOL JK i like some apple products. the Ipod/Iphone touch are pretty cool. i'm just not their biggest fan. i like to be different than other people. and my walkman hasn't gave me any problems. i've dropped it many times on pavement and it still works like a charm. so i haven't had to use the support but that's okay. i got it for Christmas and it was only $40!

and back on the topic of the new shuffle (well, I guess more iPod earphones in general): One of my Skullcandy earbuds broke when I sat on them yesterday. The left one is broken, but the right one works fine. I went to get my old iPod earbuds out of their storage space (under my bed), and surprise, surprise! The right one looked all chewed up. I know what you're thinking, don't say it... my dog chewed it up, i swear!
