i'm gettin' a ps3 soon (i hope) or a wii i'm not sure yet. i guess i'll get a ps3 b/c sony started my gaming awesomeness

ehh.. i'll just use it to surf teh interwebs. plus with the ps3 you move and it don't help but u think it does so.... and all the wii games you can play sitting down. i still love SONY

The SixAxis has sensing that is better then motion sensing for most gaming purposes (x, y, z, yaw, pitch, roll), and many games support true motion sensing via the new Playstation Eye.

The biggest difference between the two systems (Wii and PS3), other then power, is that the Wii has a narrow focus and with rare exceptions you get nothing but casual/social games, most of which force you to use the motion sensing. Where as the PS3 has (and/or will have) games from every walk of life, including many casual/social games, and with a rare exception, when tilt sensing is used, its as an optional enhancement rather than a required feature.

So it all really depends on what kind of a gamer you are. I dont/wont ever play social/casual games. So the Wii to me gets a 0 of 10 because it caters to a game style that I have no interest in.

then maybe the ps3 should advertise the fact they have it then. as most people by the WII for this feature.

well the people who made the wii said that no other console will be able to do this. and i guess Sony doesn't want to take away their mojo or something

lol it's a good idea, but the thing with the WII is i really don't like the amount of no game - just random mini games which get boring quickly- with the 2d graphics.

well ssbb is really fun when 4 friends come over but other than that ya. plus does anyone here play that game on the ps3 where it's all multiplayer? can't remember the name of it

well this game is nothing but multiplayer. there isn't a story mode

Its called Warhawk.

And Sony does advertise the SixAxis like crazy, and the Playstation Eye just came out not to long ago. With the Eye, many games even let you put your face in the game on one of the characters.

Most of the games are not too interesting, they are more there to showcase features, watch the whole thing though.
(Most of the games on there only cost from $1 to $5 btw, they are simple games just to show what the eye can do)

I am ordering an Eye today because it has many more features then just what you see there.
