BlaZe Creator (platformer game maker)

HellBlade and i have set into making a Platformer game creator.
and so At 5:37pm NZ time, BlaZe Creator was born!

It will be as simple as 001 for those who need something they can easily relate it to for an idea.
Sneek Peek ideas:
Instead of button mashing to swing a sword, we will have it so your hands follow your mouse, so all you do is swing your mouse and THWACK!
-Even easier inscreen spriting-easily make a new sprite in preset demensions-or change them for fast and easy sprite editing, no confusion guessing how big you should make the sprite.

Ok here's some details;

Programmer = Me
Graphics = Hiko

Requirements = Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 (3.5 might be needed later on)

Software type: Freeware (as far as I know)

Coolness = 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

Yeah, but it might take a while I am running into some problems but thats what happens when programming but I should be able to over come these problems

In the runtime, i made it so the player can't go out the side

Now, I will work on the editor before I do more of the runtime. I have also mostly done collisions, so you cannot walk into characters and objects

The 'main' problem I currently have is I don't know how I am going to save maps, I have a way it might work but it might not work. The second major problem I have is camera view, I don't know how I am going to do this because I'm not using DirectX or OpenGl but I think I know a way to do it, just i might not be able to do camera like 001 where you can script it to make it change position.

And so it will be. Hell- seeing how you may reed this- we need to share control of each others comps next time on MSN so we can both see im more depth what we are both doing..then we can coordinate development more cleanly

I know that, just not HOW to save them, like save where the tiles and stuff are

For instance it could be good so he makes the sprites accordingly to your image size.

According to me though the user should have a choice between 16x16 and 32x32 and maybe even higher, and it shouldn't be in strips as on Map001.

No-no 001 beta, so i can see what's going on--where your making the screens go, how the layout looks.etc. and i can complain,bitch,compliment really quick

And Dojan- it won't be strips, it'll be in sep boxes, and it'll be really easier

Yeah, well Hiko wants his sprites to have extra room so people can edit it with out haveing to resize.

Really good website.
Although there are two things that I think looks weird.
The 1px black border around that awesome logo looks a little weird...
Then if (in IE haven't tested on Firefox) you hover like 15px above the text Welcome to BlaZe creator website the text gets white.
Apart from that it is good.

Hiko, it is worse now.
When hovering over the text not only does it become white, it also appears a slightly pink magentaish box over it...
Someone should have created the layout more carefully.

-Update to main site- i added some graphics here and their

Doj- something must be wrong with your comp- on the main site, when you hover over text it slightly turns whiter, and the white boxes are meant to turn a darkish pink/purple.
and the bold largish text is meant to go white. the images is a bug with the whole website maker thing i used, get over it, all it does is get a pink box. it won't kill you
