I just recently discovered a website, ulteo.com.
On Ulteo you can try Linux in your webbrowser, it runs KDE and it is really nice.
You even get some storage space...
Try it out, it is free.

It is KDE in a browser.
And I suspect it does store a cookie on your computer, but nothing more.
Cookie, just information used by the website. Ownership and so on.

Weird not Wierd.
And, it is not. The server runs a Linux Distro with KDE and it uplinks the screen Via a Java Applet to your webbrowser.
Being able to sync the files is really neat.
