Parallels 4
I have recently upgraded to Parallels 4 from 3 as I get the update for free as I bought it just in time
It has made vista work a lot better, I am also able to open windows applications just as I would open a mac application, So RE is now my main browser on my mac.
My internet now works on Windows 7 on Parallels 4 which it didn't on 3, so I am happy .
Although it has seemed to have corrupted the Velo VM.
Also I have finally got a beta serial for Windows 7 from Microsoft (and yes the following screenshot shows the first public screenshot of the new Runecats Explorer We aim for that to be out in 25 days)

Grrr. I personally hate Parrallels 4, makes me MAD!
However, I don't get how it could corrupt the VM as we have got the error TWICE and we restarted after that...
Anyhow, YAAAAAAAAY you're a BETA tester too now?
Re: Parallels 4
Yes I am a beta tester, also when I entered the serial, the windows 7 beta for testing purpose thing on the bottom right hand corner of the screen went
Parallels 4 has corrupted the Velo VM meaning it wont open, I can't load the Velo VM
Parallels 4 converts the P3 VM to a P4 VM and I guess it got corrupt in that process.

How come the Windows 7 VM works then?Cats11112 wrote:Yes I am a beta tester, also when I entered the serial, the windows 7 beta for testing purpose thing on the bottom right hand corner of the screen went

And the testing purposes shouldn't leave unless you edit the registry.
Or use a program, look here:

At the PDC conference the computers where registered, and the watermark was there. So I think you applied a hack
I personally want it there as I feel lonely without it :S
Re: Parallels 4
Hmm I applied a hack without realizing awesome!
I think it's a P4 glitch, as there are some other weird things since going from P3-4

Re: Parallels 4
But should do on VPC as it uses bridged internet.
And I bet it only has to do with your ISP or the VM Settings...
Plus the internet worked fine when in Linux, so it coul've been M$'s fault...

Re: Parallels 4
But it is sooo similar to W-Vista, so you could've installed it with Vista settings, but with a smaller HDD
