Sims 3 Empty Sims 3

Post by Soph Wed Dec 10 2008, 10:53

Sims 3 is due to be released on the 30th of February, but due to delays with Spore, and other stuff by EA, I won't be holding my breath.
Soooo, Sims 3 is going to be awesome, its going to have an open neighbourhood instead of a series of separate areas, sims are going to be more customisable, as is furniture, wallpaper etc.
Also many new features.
And awesomeness.

YEAH!
I'm SOOOOOO looking forward to it.
Have you seen how they do when they make the animations? They film themselves doing weird stuff. Haha.
I wish I was a part of the crew Razz
Wonder if my Macintosh will be sufficient enough to run Sims 3. My PC can't even run Sims 2 Razz Though my Mac can...

Sims is the best game EVER (after Populous: The Beginning).

I can see where you would see the pointlessness, but the Sims are basically for people who want to live lives that are nothing like their own. (You can become a vampire, zombie, or alien.) The idea of a sim is that one can do things they cannot do or will not do in real life.

What do ya know? Sims 2 and their 18,000 expansions did moderately well for EA.

So people like you and me that doesn't have any lives can see how it is.
Plus, a Sim life is NEVER like a real persons life. That's what makes it fun.
And I said that you were SOOOO weird, not SOOOOOO weird.

Sims 3 Empty Re: Sims 3

Post by leon Fri Dec 12 2008, 09:43

I don't mind Sims, but I am just ridiculously annoyed when I have to fill out their needs all the time. I mean, I could spend my day at the computer had I wish to do so. A sim, just haves to do other stuff whether they like it or not. Sims 1 was too hard for me. I couldn't keep track of all the family members. The bars fell faster than they refilled. It ended with they just stood there like mindless zombies, crying about this and that, never even trying to make it up.

So, people who can successfully play Sims have a degree in Psychology? That seems to cater to a pretty hardcore crowd.

It's good that there is an actual sequel instead of another expansion pack. How many were there? 14,000?

See, the only way a person would buy them all is if they had no life, but the only way to get enough money to buy them all is to have a life. See the paradox?

I have three solutions;
1. Borrow them off other people.
2. Get other people to buy them for you.
3. Download them for free.
