Installing K-Rune Velo SE
Here is what you need to do (copied from our Wiki):
Welcome to the guide on how to install K-Rune Velo 1.0 (Bubbles) Server Edition.
First we will go through what you will need.
A working computer
An empty CD
A CD burner
A CD burning program
And the K-Rune Velo 1.0 SE ISO
Burn the .iso to the CD. This is done in different ways depending on what kind of burning program you have. The ISO will be burned in a rather special way, if you just burn the iso to the CD straight away (A data cd with the ISO on) you will not be able to boot the LiveCD?. Please check your burning programs documentation for more info on how to burn disk images (Or do a simple search on "How to burn ISO images")
Reboot your computer, and boot it from the CD. You will then come up to a menu, just click enter and Velo will boot up.
You will eventually be greeted with a login screen, a rather boring one actually. Login with the username root and the password velobubbles.
You will not get any confirmation that you have typed in any password.
You should now see the text root followed by some characters.
If you wish, you can start the graphical user interface by typing in startx, or you can just go on and install by typing in ./setup and follow the onscreen instructions.
However, before installing you might need to partition your harddrive. This can be done through the usage of the program cfdisk, just type in cfdisk in the shell and the program will launch.
Velo will want two partitions. A partition to store all data, and a swap partition. When you are done partitioning, please also format the data partition (ex hda1?, but could also be sda1? depending on the type of harddrive you have) by typing in mke2fs? /dev/hda1?, this will erase all existing data on that partition, so be sure you have backed everything up.
When that is done, you are ready to install Velo 1.0 SE.
Type in ./setup and follow the installer. Two important things to note is on the second page, you will see what harddrives to install to, it will say something like Harddrive and Partition, be sure to change those to the correct partitions. For instance, lets say that the harddrive partition you want to install to is sda3?, and the swap partition is hda5?, be sure to change the setting which says /dev/hda1? to /dev/sda3? and the setting saying /dev/hda2? to /dev/hda5?.
In the end of the installation you will be asked for a password. This will be the password for both your user and for the root account. Be sure to remember it.

Re: Installing K-Rune Velo SE
Why don't you just find a publisher, sell Velo, have it distributed among software stores for 50 bucks a pop and we can install it the old-fashioned way?
