My MacBook
Hello.
Some of you, if not all, should by now know that I run Mac.
When I got this Mac I got to know that sooo many things on it was broken, the internal microphone, the iSight webcam, the screen, the dvd drive, well, practically everything, but it worked.
Well, I pressed a button, and ta-dah, the internal speakers worked, the internal microphone and the iSight webcam worked from the beginning.
It took quite a long time before I actually dared to try out my DVD drive, and it certainly did make horrid noises, but yet, it worked.
So I was talking to Cats around christmas (As we both have Mac's now we tend to use iChat quite a lot, with it's nifty video conversations and all.) and I decided to show Cats how nice my DVD drive sounded. It was still creepying me out.
Anyhow, so I showed Cats, and Cats replied, "What? I can't hear anything bad" and Cats inserted something in the dvd drive. And it made the same noise! God was I relieved.
Here BTW are the sounds the MacBook is SUPPOSED to play when inserting a DVD/CD. It sounds really creepy, and when I showed Filip, a friend of mine, he paniced as it was his CD. Hahaha.

Re: My MacBook
It is!
I expected a minor slowdown. But actually there is a speed-up! It confuses me a bit, but I shouldn't have worried as, well, it isn't Windows!

Re: My MacBook
I'm not. Microsoft Windows is officially crap. It is about the only operating system running on the registry, and if they managed to remove that, MAYBE it would run better. I bet it would.
Re: My MacBook
System Restore is the only thing good about the registry, and it nothing went wrong with the system you wouldn't need it
