Just to eliminate the obvious, you are rotating your nano to view the cover art aren't you?

Yeah. The weird thing is when I select cover art from the music menu, or when I rotate it, it takes about 20 seconds for it to flip to cover art, and then all the cover art is there. but it's not there when I'm looking at the song that's playing...

On my laptop, yes. My laptop's the computer where I do all my iPod related stuff, since my desktop is running linux.

I used to do my iPod related stuff on my windows laptop until I got my mac, iTunes laggs on windows usually however on that particular laptop it was quite fast, but my mac is still a lot faster so thats why I use it on that now Very Happy

Catherine always used her mac to sync her iPod, but shes had her mac much longer than I have had mine Smile

Don't do that. Get a real Mac instead. Better stuff, better support, better anything.
If you ever get a Hackintosh, most problems are likely going to be driver problems. If you can't afford a Macintosh, but want something like it, get Velo, when it comes out that is.
