Because the meaning of christmas is lost?
Nowadays we only celebrate christmas to give and get stuff. The meaning is just to prove that the church is right.

Well I don't believe in all that, but i do think christmas is good family time, you don't have to spent lots of cash on people you just need to show you care.

Have you ever watched the History Channel? There are written accounts from hundreds of people (not just from the Bible) and there are references to him in many Non-Christian writings and tablature. No, there are no actual remains, but what would you expect from someone who lived over 2000 years ago? The Roman Soldiers gave the account themselves that Jesus dissappeared from his tomb.
