Keeping the forum alive Empty Keeping the forum alive

Post by Dojan5 Wed Jul 30 2008, 03:04

Hello.
I, as I believe some of you also, have noticed that this forum is loosing activity.
Sure we have got lots of posts and all, but people do not post as often.
I know that it is summer time now, and that people are going for vacation and all, seeing how both Cats and Hiko have left us temporarily.
Apart from that, we still do not have a huge activity.
This is both good and bad, however, if this keeps on the forum will eventually die out, sadly enough.
Do any of you have any suggestions at all about any events or something so we can raise the activity a notch?
Thanks
/
Joel

software will bring popularity to runecats which bring popularity to forums.
persay in one of the runecats software we make a tiny bug, they come to forum to ask for help, then they stick around, simplicity at it's top effectiveness

I could hack Game Maker, although that is illegal...
===EDIT===
I have an idea though.
Remember those freaky fridays or something as we had on Engine001 forums?
We could do something similar... Theme days or something, not something thats only open one hour...

I thought you meant that we could RELEASE a game engine...
Java preferred according to me, that would support a large usergroup (Linux, Macintosh and Windows)...
Yeah, I think it was called Happy hour...
