xp vs. vista vs. 7 window

hi im a friend of lucar and i decided it would be a good idea to compare Microsoft's successes and failures in everyones opinion so rate each out of ten and post your comments

How many of you actually have Windows 7?
I have had it since, a long time atleast, before it was released to public.
Windows 7 is actually the OS making me most, mad.
First of all the taskbar have been redesigned, to resemble, guess what? The Mac OS X dock.
You can move around and arrange open applications, like on the dock of Mac OS X.
You can even fan it out to see some of the most recent tasks in some of the applications, like Stacks on Mac OS X.
Soon they will "invent" Spaces, which have been on Linux for years, and recently came to Mac.
The best OS ever created by Microsoft was without doubt, Windows 98 Second Edition.

Uh.. 7 all the way!

But Microsoft is kinda in a rut! They need better ideas.. IM NOT SUPPORTING MICROSOFT!!! but im just say'n!
At least its better than Vista!

Hey, any1 see this pattern? 95=Meh , 98=Good , 2000/ME=sucked , XP=Great , Vista=sucked , 7=Great!

I'm starting to hate Windows 7, sure it is good and all, BUT, they copy too much and they ruin what they copy!

I think W7 is the most stable and nicest looking together out of the 3

WTF, Vista looked best.

Dude there is no difference between Vista arow and 7 arow!
Just the Start button and a few other thing that look nicer.
Face it Vista sucked balls!
On my PC it would be using 50% of my processor and 60% of my ram 24/7 !
And i have a 1.5 Ghz duel core and 2 gegs of ram!
Now 7 runs Just as fast as XP.
I 7!

i think XP has done the best out of all those windows, IMO. plus i'm with dojan GO WINDOWS 95 SE!!!

W7 looks nicer than vista dojan!

Windows 98 SE, there was no Windows 95 SE.
And @Cats, the non Aero Windows Vista looks better than non Aero Windows 7. The taskbar that is.
The gadgets are a bit clumsy too, everything in Windows seems as if they have invisible blocks around them, causing them not to move smoothly. It is so weird.

I'm one of the lucky ones who hasn't had any real problems with Vista. I think it has something to do with the model of the computer you own...

I think it has something with the user.
I didn't have that many problem as people said they had. Heck, I've had Windows XP for a total of 6 months longer, and it had Blue Screen several times whilst Vista didn't.
But afterwards like this, when I've tried 7 (For QUITE some time now.) and Mac OS X, I have realized that it is all just crap. It has very few applications that I need, is highly insecure, and dabbada dabbada.

Uh, hu.. Ya thats what windows is alright! NO seriusly what are you talking about?!? And are you out of your mind? 7 out rules vista but XP has way less compadability issues. So I duel boot with 7 and XP ( well tri-boot if you count Ubuntu ). Dojan I think the reason we like 7 so much is because its a whole lot faster than Vista

I think they purposely made Vista slow to make 7 look fast

lol ya probably.. Like sony perposfuly made the PS2 huge so the PS2 slim would be microscopic! ( well compared to PS2 big)

Grah, what I'm saying is that Windows 7 is faster, yes, but it lacks the smoothness found in Mac OS X, and it looks a hell lot more ugly.
I can't dream of how you can compare this:

Windows lacks the smoothness that Mac OS always had, and it will never get it as they always have their photocopiers on. Everyone know that a copy isn't as good as the original.
Take a close look at the "new revolutionizing" compare it to the first image's Dock, and then compare it to what is below:
Another "New and revolutionizing" taskbar used about 20 years ago.
And before that we had the Xerox computer.
They copy.

I think your forgeting that Microsoft isnt trying tp make it exactly like it otherwise it would be a complete copy and Apple would get pretty pissed about it. So really what im sayimng is if you want the cool dock 'n stuff then get leopard! Otherwise stick with 7 because its just fine.

lol It's not just the doc which looks better in the mac to windows.
anyhow windows is "just fine" but mac osx is more than "just fine"

however there both good for different things

Ya leopard or OSX are both great! I had duel booted with it before but i had to find to manny drivers that were impossible to find and i had to do it without internet (no internet driver) so i gave up and got XP, 7, and Ubuntu.

mac osx has most drivers pre-installed, I mean a lot more than windows does.

I really wish I could afford a mac :'(

Get a better paid job

Mac doesnt have drivers for parts that never were in a mac.
